In my previous GEORGE and WILLIAM and SOLOMON HARDY queries from Loudoun County, Va. we found associations with the surnames of HANSON, GARDINER, BEANES, MASSEY and TYLER along with an EDWARD TRAFFORD, ESQ. My HARDY cousin that lives in Texas her great grandfather was named JOHN HATTON HARDY. She has seen the HATTON name in some places even though the records below has about a 100 year time span. The records are as follows : Prince Georges County : Indenture 5 Nov 1714 From : MARY HATTON, widow and relict of WILLIAM HATTON, Gent. late of Prince Georges County. To : GEORGE HARDY, carpenter of Prince Georges County A tract of land called Thompson's rest at Piscataway in Prince Georges County ; bounded by LUKE GARDINER, 15 year lease. Signed : MARY HATTON and GEORGE HARDY Wit : JO. HATTON, WILLIAM HARDY Petition of JOSEPH HATTON of Prince Georges County in 1724 Regarding boundaries of land in Prince Georges County, called Thompson's Rest, mentions court at Marlborough Town before ROBERT TYLER and his associate justices. A lot of name associations. Would anyone have any information on this family ? Thank you, Marianne Dillow [email protected]
