    1. [MDCECIL] Reynolds Family of Cecil County-web site
    2. The site is good regarding the Reynolds family. But there are many not listed. Addison was not the only child of James - and we don't know where James is buried or when he died. James was not the only son of Levi and Jane (King) And Sam was not the only son of Sam and Susannah Sidwell. The brick wall for James is who he married in approx. 1816 - his first child was Matilda born in 1817 in MD. Where in MD can not find. Matilda married Thomas Bucy in Holmes County OH and became the step mother to Sarah Bucy the wife of Matilda's brother Addison. Addison and Sarah moved to Indiana and then to IL. Addision died in IL in 1879, His oldest Son James it is told went to NE because there was family land. I did find a James Reynolds in NE - born in OH he was in NE in 1857 and listed in the NE Territory. I think this was either the brother of Addison because he had a brother James listed in OH in 1850 born in 1831. Which also means their father James was remarried because he had no wife listed in the 1830 census in OH. On land records his wife's first name is Prudence. Another brick wall - have not found a marriage in Holmes county. James' brother and his wife Lydia also went to Holmes county. Lewis was his name and he died in 1829. Lydia was listed in 1830 census without a husband. She married John Turner in 1831. Her children lived with them until late in their adult life. Their names were Levi, Thomas, Samuel - traditional names. [email protected] - formerly Reynolds from NE - currently in OH for 35 yrs.
