>From "The Andrews, Clapp, Stokes, Wright, Van Cleve Genealogies" (revised 1975 edition): Mary Andrews born 26 Oct 1790 married Ellis Reynolds. Both are buried at Union Presbyterian Church, Colerain Twp. Ellis is in Cecil County MD in the 1840 and 1850 census'. Looking for any information on Ellis' and Mary's children. I believe that John A. Reynolds, born abt. 1821 was their son. Any help would be appreciated. --Phil Dennis Researching the Dennis, Reynolds and allied families of Lancaster and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania
I only have two cards on Ellis, and no children: But these might give you a lead into his parentage. Cecil Co Accts, Apr 1833, Israel Reynolds dec/d - and Ellis is mentioned Ellis paid taxes - for? Hanna Ginna dec'd - Cecil Co Accts April 1840 term. (Hanna belongs to my Reynolds group).
