    3. Hi Are you related to any of the Alexanders mentioned? I am descended from Joseph. In my family tree notes, I have the following on Joseph: " The following is from "A History of Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church. The Second Oldest Presbyterian Church in Delaware". It was originally written by Dr. James L. Vallangdigham about 1876 and updated in 1933 by Henry G. Weldon. In "Notes on Some Of the Elders", is the following: "Joseph Alexander married Mary Alden, a descendant of John Alden and by her had ten children. In a previous marriage he had several children, among whom was Hetty Ann who married Jones Mathias November 7, 1831." It is noted elsewhere that Joseph became and Elder in 1831. It also has a list of the church members with the date they joined the church: Joseph Alexander, 1821 Mary Alexander, 1831 Mary Holton, 1831 Thomas Holton, 1831 Catherine Alexander, 1831 Ann Alexander (Mathias), 1831 Margaret Alexander, 1831 What I conclude from this, is that Mary Holton (nee Alexander) is, more likely than not, Joseph's daughter since she is listed here with the rest of her sisters. Also, the Mary listed is Joseph's wife, and we find yet another way to list (Hetty/Hester) Ann Alexander." With respect to the David mentioned, I have the following: "His children were Aaron and Anne. When David died his widow married a Mr. Dobbins and they moved 'to the Cape Fear river, N.C. where her daughter Anne Alexander married Gilbert Clark, the first elder the first Presbyterian church...........'. Aaron moved from Munster and settled in Sherman's Valley, PA. This is from, 'A Record of the Descendants of John Alexander' " Hope this helps.
