I have a book entitled "Recollections of Somerset County's Earliest Years" by David Husband (circa 1870); first published in the Somerset Standard in 1870. It contains one mention of Herman Husband's first wife having the surname of Stump, that first marriage producing two sons, William and Joseph. As to the accuracy of this information, I can make no judgment. It also makes mention that one of his sons named Isaac Tuscape Husband, spent the winter of 179_ in Henderson, KY. He had taken a trip down the Ohio and was going to return back upriver after wintering in Henderson. This gives me some reason to believe that the Husband names I found in the tax lists of Henderson, KY (John and Emey) were related to Herman as son and widow. Robert Schneider
