    3. Walter, I have a Mounts ancestor whose family purportedly lived in Maryland before migrating to Virginia c. mid 1700's. Family legend has it that he was Blackfoot and Cherokee. I have never been able to ascertain with certainty which Mounts family he came from (he had a James Addair as guardian when he first shows up on a document at age 24 in 1809.), or find the Blackfoot and Cherokee connection in any document. The Blackfoot may have been remnant Siouan peoples such as the Saponi or Tutelo...see a site called Searching for Saponitown....I did find a pocket of All Other Free Persons on the 1790 census for Octorara Hundreds, although I am not sure what AOFP meant in that context. This area of Cecil County has an interesting history.... Best wishes. Just wanted to let you know there were others with the Blackfoot ID. Brenda
