Ellen, I do see a JOHN WARD married to ELIZABETH, with 2 children being born, while they attended St. James Parish, Baltimore County, MARGARET b.2/2/1784 MARTHA b.10/29/1789 ***** There also was a JOSEPH & JANE WARD, who had a son JOHN b. 9/2/1802, from the same Parish. I will be getting back to that CD with WARD surnames in a few days, as things are hectic around here right now. Timothy L. Robinson Catonsville, Balto. Md. John Ward III married Elizabeth Wilson. There is also a Col | John Ward who married Sarah Walmsley in 1786 and I'm not sure where he fits | in. Also Col. John Ward who married Elizabeth Pennington. These are all men | who lived in the latter part of the 1700s. | | Duncan Veazey's research in the 1890s says that Robert, Joshua and George | Ward are the sons of John Ward and great grandsons of William Ward who | patented the property Neighbor's Grudge. I found a copy of a family bible in | the Baltimore County Historical Society for the descendants of George Ward | which states that he was the son of John Ward III of Cecil County and | descended from Col. John Ward who patented the property Ward's Knowledge. | I'm trying to figure out what's correct and what isn't. | | This is probably much more information than you wanted! Thanks for any help | you can give me. | | Ellen Ward | | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "timothy robinson" <[email protected]> | To: "Ellen Ward" <[email protected]> | Sent: Friday, December 27, 2002 11:31 AM | Subject: Re: [MDCECIL] FTM CD# 195 MORGAN Surname's | | | > Is there a certain person you are seeking, or is WARD the Surname you | would | > prefer to see displayed next??? | > | > Timothy L.
