I am trying to get through a big brick wall. I have a James Henry Hall born in Maryland in 1812. In 1834 he was married in Cincinnati Ohio. He may have been related to Ezekiel Hall who was born on the Eastern Shore about 1777 and was also in Ohio. I am trying to figure out if my James Hall is related to The Elihu Hall family of Cecil County. On www.Familysearch.com I found a James Hall born in 1812 to Charles Hall and Elizabeth Coleman. In another record I found this Charles Hall had a brother Henry who died 4 years before my James Henry Hall was born. The only hitch is the record at Familysearch.org said James was born in Pannsylvania not Maryland and all of the Census records show James as born in Maryland. Does anyone know where I could locate birth records for the time period around 1812? Also several of the records I looked at had a place called Mt. Welcome as a birthplace, does anyone know where that might have been?
