Dearlethah, We did a survey of US Craigs and variants leading up to our study of the SC Craigs. Found many and different variations and locations in early US. Some came into PA, VA and on down into NC and SC and elsewhere. Our Craigs came from Ireland in 1773/4 into Charleston and were easily traced to Laurens and their current location. My only suggestion would be to loook into the Ireland Craig records at LDS. We traced our Craig Family back to Ahoghill, County Antrim, Northern Ireland with some help from these records, especially the Religious Census records of Ireland that LDS has. No help other wise for you. Thanks for input.
