Hi Listers: Seeking a photo of SAMUEL EDWARD COLE son of James & Mary (nee Drennen) Cole. He was born in Cherry Hill (Cecil CO. ) MD. in 1885. He married CLARA GUSBERG in Aug. 1917 in Hartford,CT. then moved to Newark, DEL. when Cole had to register for the WW-1 draft in 1918. They were separated by 1919 and Cole went to live with his sister Ida (Mrs. Wm. Morrison) on 28 Choate St., Newark. where he died in June 1940. He was an officer in the Knights of Pythias; the Masons and the Methodist Church. He was also a volunteer fireman in Newark, DE. He had worked for many years for the Curtis Paper Co. among others but was on sick leave during the first world war. Reward for an authentic photo. [email protected] 4/28/03
