I know this is a longshot since there do not seem to be many PA/MD/DE Carter researchers out there. . . but maybe there is some lone Carter researcher we've missed so far --- and maybe some Cloud, Parker, Barcus, and Dunning researchers who will recognize members of our family as being members of their families. While we have collected some information on our direct lines, we have limited information on the collateral lines. ELIZABETH PARKER Their children: Joseph M., James Parker, Daniel, Silas Evans, Jeremiah, and Margaret. Generation 3 JAMES PARKER CARTER (b. Dec. 1818; d. Nov. 24, 1848) m. on July 2, 1840, FRANCES ANN BARCUS (b. 1823-24, prob. MD) Their children: Alfred B., George Brown, Elizabeth. Generation 4 ALFRED B. CARTER (b. Mar. 29, 1841, PA or MD; d. Mar. 29, 1911, Caroline Co., MD) m. on Dec. 19, 1860, LILLIAN ANN MURPHY (b. Dec. 10, 1839, MD; d. Feb. 17, 1921, Caroline Co., MD). Both buried in Concord United Methodist Cemetery, Denton, MD. Apr. 28, 1933, Milton, Sussex Co., DE) m. ALVERTA DUNNING (b. Apr. 14, 1873, MD; d. July 4, 1945, Milford, Sussex Co., DE). Their children: William George, Lillian May, William Barcus, Mary Tirsca (Theresa?), Alice Viola, Charles George, Everett Edward, David, Albert, Alfred B., Agnes, Marion, Georgia. Generation 6 CHARLES GEORGE CARTER (b. Mar. 26, 1896, Denton, Caroline Co., MD; d. Feb. 14, 1953, Delaware City, New Castle Co., DE, bur. Feb. 17, 1953, Milford, Kent Co., DE) m. MABEL MARIAN McCULLOUGH (b. Apr. 26, 1900, Milford, Sussex Co., DE; d. Oct. 5, 1985, Milford, Sussex Co., DE) Their children: Charles George (Jr.), Disston McCullough Generation 7 CHARLES GEORGE CARTER, Jr., and DISSTON McCULLOUGH CARTER are both deceased as are their wives.
