Cathy, Do you know anymore about Peter Justice and the probable area of Cecil Co. you are mentioning in connection with this John Hall? Helen Smith
Yes, Peter Justice is my ancestor. His land was in the nw part of Cecil Co. I would have to check the patent maps for your Hall. Or you can buy them at the Cecil Co Genealogical Society. Did I ever answer your letter? I still have it in my email file which usually indicates that it is yet to be done. Today I started checking my almost 1000 emails and am down to #730 - yours. Peter Justice is my ancestor. He married Catherine Crew in 1831 in St Mary Anne's Church, North East, Cecil Co. He had three sons, none of whom left descendants but they willed their land in nw Cecil Co to their married sisters. I no longer remember why I wrote you re the Hall connection. Start me around again by reminding me. I've dropped a huge genealogy job I was doing for my sister-in-law so now may have more time. Cathy, Good evening. My wife has Alexanders from North East MD in her family. Ada Rebecca Alexander, d/o of George P. Alexander, 1822 and Sarah Galey. I believe they are buried at St Mary Annes, although I have not found any tombstones there. Could any of these be in your line.
