I'll try to tie in all responses in one here. :-) Thanks to all who answered my question. Now I have three more. Rather than a marriage, does anyone know when Samuel Coulter died? The information I posted was all I know based upon what little I dug up on genforum on the Coulter family forum. Other stuff came from the same only the Campbell forum. I dunno anything about Sarah, or Samuel Coulter beyond what I've posted here on this list. Though I'd love to know who Sarah's parents are. :-) I got Samuel Campbell into First Families of Gallia County having a deed in Gallia County Deed book Vol. 5 P. 336 where he purchased land here in 1815, but I've been refused on Sarah since I couldn't prove she was a Foster. Hence my search continues. :-) I would really appreciate it if someone in the Cecil County area, who's going to be at the courthouse anyway, could pick up a copy of the two marriage records (Samuel Coulter to Sarah Foster and Sarah Foster to Samuel Campbell). I can probably make a small donation, but please contact me privately first so I don't get 20 copies of the document and wind up owing $200 ($10 x 20 people <grin>). Oh, and if someone could also find Samuel Coulter's death record that would be great as well. I really would like to put Sarah in First Families along side her husband. :-) Thanks, Linda Trent lindatrent@zoomnet.net
Hi Linda, I do wonder if we connect somewhere back in Cecil Co MD. My Bing brothers were born there to John and Esther (prob. Craig) Bing in the mid 1700. If you remember I proved my Samuel Bing for FF of Gallia. If in your search you run into an Ann Logan m Oliver Bing I would love to know. He is the only brother I can't document past his marriage. Interesting area to search though.
