Can sks do a double-check of a record in Henry Peden's book, "Early Anglican Church Records of Cecil County, Maryland." I would like to see if what i have in my database is what was actually in the book. This should be on pp. 24-25. My question is --on this page here, is the Peter Van BEBBER, b. 25 May 1695, really listed as the son of "Jacob V Bebber" ??? --and "Fronika his Wife" ?? Does it really say, "Peter V Bebber Son of Jacob V Bebber and Fronika his Wife was born on 25 Day of May A. D. 1695." ?? If so, there has been an error, because it was Isaac (Jacobs) Van Bebber, son of Jacob Van Bebber, whose wife was Fronica Schumaker, who had a son Peter Van Bebber in that time frame. If the record is wrong, that would probably be because somewhere along the line of making this record, the patronymic (father's name) of Isaac Van Bebber (Peter's father) was inadvertantly used, rather than his actual name. Isaac Van Bebber's father (grandfather of Peter) was Jacob Van Bebber. The birth record should say: Peter van Bebber, son of Isaac [Jacobs(on)] Van Bebber and Fronika his Wife, was born on 25 Day of May A. D. 1695. Thanks in advance for the help. Liz J
