Jo, Yes, that is my family. Edwin Nowland was my Great Grandfather. Edwin had 4 children - Alice, Robert, Manley and William. William died as an infant. It was actually Manley who married Della (Creswell) and those were my grandparents. I'm still not sure which house you are referring to, but it sounds like it was in the area where Edwin's sister Annie lived. She married a Walter Wood. Are those names familiar to you? Both Edwin and Mary may have lived there for a time, but I'm not sure.
