    3. I failed to include this from Inhabitants of Cecil County, Maryland 1649-1774 by Henry C. Peden p. 113 Cecil Co Debt Books Reynolds, Richard - Knowlwood - 1734-1760 Now, I wouldn't lay a lot of reliance on that 1760 date as Francis SMITH, grandfather of Richard REYNOLD's wife, Sarah PEIRCE, died: 1720, and yet from the same book: p. 116. Cecil Co Debt Books Smith, Francis - Knowlwood, Locust Point - 1734, 1760 Some deeds must not have been filed or filed years after the fact as Francis SMITH's will was contested by Rev Richard SEWELL, the will supposedly had left the entire estate, including Knowlewood, Locust Neck, Locust Point and Horn Point, to his sister, Sarah (nee Smith) PEIRCE, w/200 acres to his nephew, Robert EYRE. Sarah PEIRCE d: bet: 1730-1733, her husband, Henry PEIRCE d: 1743 and the nephew, Robert EYRE d: bet 1729-1732. It appears the final disposition was to Sarah PEIRCE which she then passed on to three of her daughters. Inhabitants of Cecil County, Maryland 1649-1774 by Henry C. Peden p. 13 Land Patents and Certificates Smith, Francis- 1714- "Horn Point" - 42 acres p. 15...same list as above Sarah Pearce - 1726 - "Locust Neck" - 132 acres. Certificate in the name of Francis Smith. p.101 Cecil Co Debt Books Hall, John - Knowlwood, Coxes Purchase, Marksfield 1734-1766 (wife Elizabeth nee PEIRCE) p.103 Howe (How), Richard - Knowlwood - 1734-1760 (wife Joan/Jean/Jane nee PEIRCE). [The surname HOWE, HOW, HOE]. p.113 Reynolds, Richard - Knowlwood - 1734-1760 (wife, Sarah nee PEIRCE) p. 116. Smith, Francis - Knowlwood, Locust Point - 1734, 1760
