I have Progeny and looked for Joseph Wilcox in the American revolution, there are several Joseph's listed but all are in New England States, Ma., Ct. Colleen, "Revolutionary Patriots of Cecil County Maryland" by Henry C. Peden, Jr has on page 120: Wilcox, Joseph. Oath of Allegiance in 1778. That information came from the Maryland Historical Society, Manuscripts Div. Oaths taken by Justice Thomas Bouldin.
