Hi, Thanks for all the look-ups. My brick wall is Rebecca Hall b. about 1836. While I know that she was married to James Bristow in 1853 and James died in 1860, I don't know her parents. She lived with an older Lovett female in the 1850. Do you have any marriages for a Lovett to a Hall? Thanks, Mary in Alabama ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month! Visit www.juno.com

Ellen Ward: Could you look up any marriage information about: 1. Robert Kemble (Kimbell, Kimble, Kimball) alleged to have married Mary Williams, or Abigail ?, about 1683. Abigail may have been his second wife. Robert died in 1691. Robert lived in Cecil County, and 2. John Kemble, brother to Robert, who may have married a Mary Capell about 1680, also in Cecil Co. Thank you sincerely, Ted Kimble [email protected]

One question I can answer for you is the location of District 2. Go to this link and look for the map towards the bottom of the page. District 2 is located to the east of the Elk River and north of the Bohemia River and borders on Delaware. http://cchistory.org/elecdist.html Ellen ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2003 4:34 PM Subject: [MDCECIL] Looking for Sewall/Sewell-Rudulph-Milnor families, etc. > I have been looking for the Rudulph; Sewall or Sewell and Milnor families for > a few years and have benefited from periodically writing to the Cecil County > mailing list. I have been looking for the Rudulph; Sewall or Sewell and Milnor families for a few years and have benefited from periodically writing to the Cecil County mailing list. I have accumulated, this way, more information from generous souls. So to those who have helped and are tired of seeing the same posting, I apologize. I hope, though, that someone can help me once again. Bazel Sewall/Sewell was married twice, Elizabeth Dawsen and Dorothy Elliott were his wives, don't know in what order. In his will, proved in 1802, he names children: James, Bazel, Clement, William, Thomas, Nicholas and Mary Dawson and his granddaughter Mariah Dawson - In "Plantation Life at Rose HIll: the diaries of Martha Ogle Forman" Mrs Forman mentions that General James Sewall(of Holly Hall, Elkton, Cecil County) is the uncle of Mary Dawson's daughter, Maria Sewall (Dawson) married a Ford). I do not know who the mother(s) of Bazel's children were, just that he was married twice and that they are the children mentioned in his will. The above mentioned James Sewall (abt 1778-1842) married Anna Maria Rudulph (1792-1856), they had Martha Elizabeth who married William Carson Glenn in 1835, Caroline who married Thomas Oliver in 1846 and James M. who married Anne Pinkney. In the 1840 census I find James and Bazil Sewall in district 2, Cecil County (where is district 2)? On April 7, 1883 the Cecil Whig ran an article which was about the Hollingsworth Burial ground and the reinternment of various individuals, among them were one Tobias Rudulph, son of Tobias and Martha Rudulph and "Charles Sewell, son of James M. Sewell, ... and grandson of General Sewell ... will be removed to the Sewell family vault at Holly Hall" Anna Maria is the daughter of Tobias Rudulph (1759-1806) and Martha Milnor (1758-1818). Tobias Rudulph is the son of Tobias and Ann Jacob and grandson of Johannes Michael and his wife Anna. I am looking for additional information on the Sewall, Rudulph and Milnor families. Other than the name Martha Milnor I know nothing of this family. I believe that there may have been other children of Bazel Sewall, Sr who settled in Cecil County - Bazel, Sr. was from Talbot County. Maybe someone will recognize the above mentioned names. I would greatly appreciate any help on any of the families. The Sewalls I want have connections to Rudulph's; Milnors; Fords; Dawsons; Olivers; Pinckneys and Elliotts. Thanks in advance and hope that this is not too confusing. NT [email protected]

David Short was born approx 1775 location unknown but we find him in Cecil Co, MD from 1800 through 1840. He married Mary Segars in Cecil Co. in 1812 and had a daughter, Mary Ann, born in 1812 who married William Hazelton Scott in Cecil Co in 1833. David and Mary also had a son William b unknown. In her will, she lists a son, James L. Wilson, which leads me to think that Mary Segars was married previously. Does anyone know of this family? David in Boise [email protected]
