Hey Wanda- Yea, we've emailed once before, cannot remember the outcome. My Annifidora or Anna Dora Gosnell was born in 1843. Her mother was Eva Anna Haines, she was born in/ @1806. Not certain if her husband or her father was James Gosnell, born abt 1785. If you have access to the 1850 census, he is listed as James Gasnel. Eve is listed as a Haines in same home. James has a daughter Martha and has sons Ambrose and Nathan. What does not make sense is that Tobias(1850) and Anna are listed like Haines but later both use the name Gosnell. Anna married John Elgen/Elgin in 1860 as a Gosnell.
