I have an Emily Jane Stultz who was born January 9, 1826 or 1829 and was from Carroll County - since Carroll County was not established till 1837 - can someone advise me as to where I might write to reseach documentation of her birth and therefore documentation of her parents? Supposedly, her mother was a Crabbe. I do know that she married a Solomon Fox (no date for the marriage) but have extensive information on their children -- this family moved to Ohio. There is a Stultz family in the 1850 Census with an Emily J. listed at age 21 - under William and Lydia Stultz. Thanks for any advise - it's greatly appreciated. Martha Combs Thevenin
