    3. So, does this mean that the library cemetery is the original St. John's and whoever goes to take photos (I think maybe Margie) should go to the library cemetery? It's the original St. John's location? She or whoever can compare the St. John's cemetery 1889 transcription with stones and maybe make sure it's the correct one at least as of 1889. ' I've been there and it's nicely kept up and I hope the stones are still legible. Big question: when did they stop using it since the Thomas Herbert Shriver didn't die until 1916? Does the new St. John's church have a cemetery? From the looks of things, I would think that's the best bet. I just wish I could find out when the old church stopped being used prior to the Library being built. I do know that the CCGS Cemetery books for the North-Central region of the county cover St. John's, so if any one has access to those volumes, they could let us know if Mr. Shriver is listed in the old location or somewhere else. I plan to pick up a copy of those books for myself sometime this week, but don;t have access to them at this point. >She or whoever can compare the St. John's cemetery >1889 transcription with stones and maybe make sure >it's the correct one at least as of 1889. I'm not sure about that - but it sure would be nice to know! -Mary >Kathi Jones-Hudson >MD Tombstone Transcription Project Manager >http://www.rootsweb.com/~cemetery/maryland/maryland.html > > > >____________________________________________________________________________________ >Do you Yahoo!? >Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo!
