March 30, 1758, married Frederick George Snider, Sr., before 1779, in the part of Frederick county that is now Carroll. I am also interested in the Gassaway family. I am attempting to connect our Catherine Greenwood, b. July 2, 1782, to a John Gassaway from that area. On February 4, 1805, he married a Catherine (Kitty) Greenwood in Shelby Co., KY, but I can't prove it's our Catherine. I know they both ended up in Shelby Co., KY. Our Catherine was the daughter of Philip (b. 1755) Greenwood and his first wife, Mary. Philip was the older brother of Margaret Greenwood mentioned above. All I know for sure about John Gassaway is that he died between May 19 - June, 1826, in Shelby Co., KY. I believe he is the John Gassaway who inherited from his father "Talbot's Resolution Manor" along with his brothers, Benjamin and Robert. Children of Gassaway and Greenwood are: Rachel, Samuel, Uriah, David, William, Benjamin, Nancy, Rebecca, and Richard. Is anyone else researching these people?
