    1. [MDCARROLL] Re: How does one find a will?/GOOGLE Search
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: LONG, NORTH Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CFB.2ACI/338.1 Message Board Post: Hi Janet, there are many ways to find them and I am only beginning to learn, myself... but by accident, I found a whole bunch by doing a GOOGLE Search on the surname and "search within the results" for: will, probate, letter of appointment", etc. KISS still does work, especially when all else fails. I use the GOOGLE Search for each name and surname: type in the "name" in quotes or surname, and then "search within the results" for: genealogy, and then "search within the results" for: the first name in quotes or the entire name in quotes. I type in genealogy first for names like LONG or NORTH... it helps to cut out the "long road" thingy from happening too much. It works great for me. My sister Fran taught me this trick. Hope that it helps. Happy Researching. Peace and blessings. Dolores Cobb Phifer
