    3. Here is the Barnhart surname Mrs. Curvin M. Barnhart (written in date) 7 Aug 1974 Annie Virginia Eckard Barnhart died yesterday at her Hanover RD 2 home. She was 80. She is the wife of Curvin M. Barnhart and a daughter of the late William J. and Laura Kate Lippy. A native of Carroll County, she was a member of the (Bachman�s) Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Westminster. Along with her husband, she is survived by a son, Clair Barnhart, 103 Grandview Road, Hanover; one daughter, Mrs. Romaine Kemper, Hanover RD 2; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Hesson, New Oxford, Mrs. Wilda Wareheim, Manchester,, Md.; Mrs. Helen Bechtel, Littlestown RD2; and Ruth Crowl, Taneytown. She also leaves six grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover. Conducting the service will be Rev. Norman Bortner, her church�s minister, and Rev. M. Wright. Interment will be in Penn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening. Obituary Mrs. Cecelia Barnhart (written in date) 2 Jan 1938 Mrs. Cecelia Leese Barnhart, widow of Cornelius Barnhart, died Sunday evening at 9.15 o�clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Baumgardner, 3 Stuart avenue. She was aged 86 years. Mrs. Barnhart was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Leese, and was born March 4, 1851. Surviving her are 163 living descendants, including seven children, Mrs. Harvey Warner and Mrs. Horatio Wentz, Hanover RD 2; Mrs. David Baumgardner, with whom she was residing; Cleveland Barnhart, Hanover r. D. 1; Dallas Barnhart and Mrs. Tempest Berwager, Westminster, Md., and John C. Barnhart, Hanover R. D. 2; forty-one grandchildren, 101 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon with services conducted at the home at 2 o�clock. Further services will be held in St. David�s (Sherman�s) church. The Rev. A.M. Hollinger, pastor of the West Manheim Lutheran charge will officiate. Burial will be made in St. David�s cemetery. Maryland Weddings Dutterer-Barnhart (written in date) 5 Oct 1940 Alton I. Dutterer, son of J. Irvin Dutterer, Westminster, and Garma Barnhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland L. Barnhart, Westminster, were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon at 3 o�clock. The ring ceremony was performed by the pastor of the Salem Lutheran charge, the Rev. J. E. MacDonald, at the parsonage in Westminster. The bride was attired in a blue dress, and had a corsage of pink rosebuds and gardenias. They were unattended. After a wedding trip they will reside with the bride�s parents for the present. Burials (written in date 30 Jul 1950) Mrs. Floyd A. Barnhart Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Maggie E. Barnhart, 48, wife of Floyd A. Barnhart, Westminster R.D. 3, who died Saturday morning following a lingering illness. Rites were conducted at the Frederick Bucher funeral home, Frederick street, by her pastor, the Rev. A. M. Hollinger. Burial was in St. Bartholomew�s church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Winnemore Stewart, Malcolm Stewart, Vernon Bixler and John Little. Mrs. Floyd A. Barnhart Mrs. Maggie E. Barnhart, 48, wife of Floyd A. Barnhart, Westminster R. D. 3, died this morning at 7 o�clock following a lingering illness of twelve years. She had been bedfast the past eight weeks. Mrs. Barnhart was a daughter of Mrs. Mary Snyder and the late Bert Garvick. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Bartholomew�s church. surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are one daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Sterner, at home; one son, Lavere Stauffer, Hanover R. D. 2; three grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters; Ivan and Sterling Garvick, Westminster R. D. 3; Oscar, Herbert and Laverne Garvick, Mrs. William Stauffer and Mrs. Ruth Klinedinst, all of Hanover R. D. 2, and Mrs. Howard Kretz, Hanover. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Frederick Bucher funeral home, Frederick street. Her pastor, the Rev. A. M. Hollinger, will officiate. Barnharts Mark 30th Anniversary The Evening Sun, Wednesday, August 15, 1979 A surprise 30th wedding anniversary party recently was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Denton Barnhart in their home. The couple was married June 25, 1949 at St. David�s Lutheran Church, by the late Rev. A. M. Hollinger. Some 60 guests attended the party which was given by the couple�s four children and their families, Dough and Joyce Barnhart, Deb and Dave Hilker, Sandi and Denny Boyd and Pam Barnhart. the couple also has four grandchildren. The Denton�s were presented with a money tree and many other gifts. Mrs. John C. Barnhart The Evening Sun Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1984 Rena L. Barnhart, 88, of 507 Frederick St., died this morning at her home. She was the wife of John C. Barnhart. Born in West Manheim Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry G. and Mary Brumgard Bechtel. She was a member of St. David�s Lutheran Church and the Pleasant Hill Fire Co. Auxiliary. Mrs. Barnhart is also survived by five sons, Burnell C. Barnhart, Hanover Rd 2; Cletus L. Barnhart, 507 Frederick St.; George H. Barnhart, Hanover RD2; Nevin L. Barnhart, Hanover RD 2, and Earl R. Barnhart, Hanover RD 6; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys E. Shearer, 507 Frederick St., and Mrs. Ruth E. Grove, 3847 Stuart Drive, York; 28 grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, and one brother, Leslie Bechtel, Littlestown RD 2. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. David�s Lutheran Church with her pastor, the Rev. Roy A. Steward, officiating. Burial will be in St. David�s (Sherman�s) Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., Thursday evening or at the church Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Copenhaver-Barnhart (written in date) June 24, 1939 Miss Romaine B. Barnhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Barnhart, Westminster, Route 2, and Ralph W. Copenhaver, son of Mrs. George Schue, Manchester, were married Saturday evening at 7.30 o�clock in the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran church, Taneytown. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. T. Sutcliffe. The couple was unattended. The bride wore a light blue lace gown with white accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds and baby�s breath. The newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to an unannounced destination. On their return they will be at home midway between Taneytown and Littlestown at the residence of the bridegroom�s grandfather, Edward Copenhaver. Mr. Copenhaver is a graduate of the eichelberger High school of Hanover with the class of 1935.
