Book 98 9/26/1903 204 Edward F. Huff Ex'tr ) This deed made this twenty sixth day of September Deed to ) in the year nineteen hundred and three by Edward John Thomas Strevig ) F. Huff executor as hereinafter mentioned, Witnesseth that whereas a certain Gershom Huff late of Carroll County, Maryland departed this life leaving a last will and testament which was duly admitted to probate in the Orphan's Court of Carroll County and recorded in the office of the Register of Wills of said County in Liber J.D.B. No. 9 folio 187 etc., in which said last will and testament the said Edward F. Huff was appointed executor will power and authority to sell the Real Estate of said deceased, and whereas the said executor in pursuance of the power and authority vested in him by said will and by the order of the Orphan's Court of Carroll County, did sell at public sale all that particular hereinafter described Real Estate unto a certain John Thomas Strevig at and for the sum of $240.00 which said sale was reported to the Orphan's Court of Carroll county on the 14th day of September A.D. 1903, and whereas the said purchase money has been fully paid and satisfied to said executor by the said purchases. Now therefore this deed witnesseth that for and consideration of the said sum of Two hundred and forty dollars the said Edward F. Huff of Carroll County, Maryland, executor as aforesaid does hereby grant and convey unto the said John Thomas Strevig of Carroll County all that tract or parcel of land called "Fanny's Meadow"situate lying and being in Westminster in said County containing one acre and twenty square perches of land more or less and is the same tract or parcel of land that was conveyed to the said Gershom Huff by Ferdinand E. Coates and Catherine Coates his wife by deed bearing date March 27th A.D. 1888 and recorded among the land records of Carroll County in Liber J.M.B. No. 98 folio 107 etc. as by reference to said deed will more fully appear> To have and hold the above described property unto the said John Thomas Strevig his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.
