I live in the K.C. area; in Independence there is the RLDS church- they have a Family History library- microfiche, cds, etc. I could try looking up the file #s I have obtained from the Website, and see if there is more information. For example, on Joshua, and on Mary, my gggm, David and Lurena are listed as the parents. Some contributor put David b. abt.1810, someone else had Nov. 22, 1798- which I was able to verify by noting on the 1850 census that he was 52 at that time. There is so much cross-ref., etc. to get the accurate info., which I'm sure you know! I want to get over to the RLDS lib. and try looking up these files, but between work, kids, etc. it's difficult. Now that there's a good lead, I'll try to make it over next wk.
