One Adam Wentz was born Apr 3 1791 in Carroll Co MD, s/o Adam Wentz (1751-1815) and Catherine Krebbs. He received land in his fathers will, proved Mar 8 1815 [in Balt. Co]: In the will Adam (Sr) devised all his land to son Adam excluding 17 1/2 acres (part of Stumps Lot and Smithfield) which he devised to his son John. This 17 1/2 acres lay on the Lineboro Rd, nr the Manchester-Hanover Rd. Adam (Jr) was an executor of the Will. I need information on his marriage and children, where he lived. Another (?) Adams Wantz lived in Heidelberg Twp, York Co in 1820, 1830 and 1850 census. In 1850 his household was Adam Wantz, 61, Eliz, 59, Emanuel 24, Mary [Molly?] 23, Mary 24, Emeline 9 mo (p352#34); Jacob, 22, lives next door. Adam Wantz is named as an heir in the Will of Jacob Wantz, dated Jan 27 1816, Manheim Twp, York Co PA. I need his birth or baptism record. An Adam Wantz and wife Elizabeth had children baptized at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Hanover PA. I believe this is the family of the second Adam Wantz./ . Nancy b. Nov 15 1808, bap. Sep 4 1810/ .
