These are Brethren names. John Stem is the father of these children. His wife, Mary Margaret Myers, daughter of Daniel Myers (d. 1797), had died recently. The birthdates of the children may be of interest to some researchers. Richard R. Weber 10715 Moosberger Ct. Columbia, MD 21044 Minute Book of the Orphans Court of Frederick County, MD October Term 1807: John Stem is appointed Guardian to Elizabeth Stem, Aged Six Years 25th January 1807. Samuel Stem Aged four years 5th January 1807, Lydia Stem Aged three years 10th October 1807 rep(s) of Daniel Myers (Deceased) who appears & offers David Rinehart & David Englar as his Securities who are approved of the Court direct them to enter into Bond to each in the sum of #300 Curret Money for the due performance. John Stem, father of these children and son of Conrad, died in Feb 1817 at age 48. John is buried in Wolfe Cemetery, Union Bridge MD.
