(written in date 14 Sep 1951) Adams Weddings--Arter-Gorsuch--Sgt. Robert L. Arter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Arter, Sr., Littlestown, and Miss Bertha E. Gorsuch, Westminster, were married Monday evening at 7 o'clock in Grace Lutheran church in Westminster by the Rev. Elwood S. Falkenstein. The bride, given in marriage by a friend, Eugene Clutz, Taneytown, wore a gown of white satin an a shoulder length veil. She carried a white prayer book topped with a white orchid. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Miller, Littlestown, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom, attended the couple. Mr. Miller was attired in a green satin gown with matching headband and carried a bouquet of yellow and white pompons. A reception was held at the Arter home in Littlestown, with the table decorations featuring a three-tier wedding cake with a miniature bride and bridegroom. Mrs Arter ,who was employed by the Children's Rehabilitation hospital, Cockeysville, Md., will reside at the home of her husband's parents. Sgt. Arter is stationed at Fort Monmouth, N. J.
