Marriage--Arter-Winemiller--Tammy L. Winemiller, 300 W. Elm Ave., daughter of Lois M. Winemiller, 300 W. Elm Ave., and Wayne O. Winemiller, Hanover RD 2, became the bride of Irvin L. Arter Jr., son of Irvin L. Arter Sr., Littlestown RD 2, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22 at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Wilson Ave. The Rev. Orrin O. Orewiler officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore her mother's gown of ivory satin and chantilly lace. Wendy Winemiller, Seven Valleys RD 2, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Sandy Orendorff, King St., Littlestown. Charles Sites Jr., Glenville, cousin of the groom, was best man. The usher was Leon Orendorff, King St., Littlestown. A reception was held at Neiderer's Banquet Hall, McSherrystown, for approximately 100 guests. The couple will reside at 300 W. Elm Ave. The groom, a 1976 graduate of Hanover High School, is employed at Sylvania Shoe, McSherrystown.
