He was baptized at St. Mary's, in Carroll Co., on 16 June 1833. He married Catherine Myers 8 Dec. 1856 in Carroll Co. According to the 1900 census, he was living in Carroll Co., Manchester #6, ED 129, at 68 yrs of age. Anything after that is a mystery. Is there a way to search for an obituary if the date of death is unknown? If I had access to the 1910 or 1920 census, I might be able to at least pin down a 10 yr period for possible death date, but so far, I haven't had any luck getting someone to do a look-up for either of those census years. Does the Carroll Co. Historical Society keep index cards on individuals, like some historical societies do? How do you find a copy of a will for an individual in Carroll Co.?
