    2. Rick, << Are you in the Carroll County area? Both the public library and the Carroll County historical society offer a great assortment of books, census, church and cemetery records. Both are located in Westminster. No, I live in Bucks County, PA. and am trying to get my bearings before I make a trip of any kind. I like to know where I'm headed and that way I can cover as much ground as possible. I'll contact them and see if they do research and what sources they have available. Another site is the Bachman Valley site where many of the German families settled after coming south from York county, PA http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~peppler/maryland/index.html I haven't seen this site before but you can be sure that after this letter I'll be checking it out. Another person had brought this same site on the MD CARROLL-L Rootsweb mail to my attention today just after yours was posted. I will see what I can look up for you in the next few days. I sure appreciate all your help. Regarding the 3 Crowl women who married into your Bish family. I believe Alice R. and Mary Agnes are the daughters of Josiah but do you have a parent on Golda A. Crowl ? Also do have the parents of the 3 Bish men who married these women; were they by any chance brothers or cousins? >> Best Regards, Sue
