Valentine MYERS was born ca. 1720 in Frederick County, MD. Around 1750 he was granted a patent for land near PIPE CREEK (Resurvey on Black Oak Hill). His father may have been Adam MYERS and his son may have been Daniel MYERS/MOYER. This MYERS family was German Baptist (Brethren), and they were active at the Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren.
