To all the Barnes researchers, I am looking for the parents of Priscilla/Percilla BARNES 1831-1907. I find her in the 1850 Quincy Twp, Franklin County, PA census. At that time she is 20 y/o and had been married within the year to Jacob CLEM, 26, a carpenter. Family history says she was born in Maryland. Living within close proximity is Adam BARNES, 74 a blacksmith, who was born in Maryland. He is living with Mary, 48, of Maryland. Also living in the household are Dorsey, 27, a laborer of Maryland, Eliza, 17, of Maryland and Adam, 9, of Pennsylvania. Can anyone confirm the relationship of Priscilla BARNES to the BARNES neighbors? A son of Jacob and Priscilla, John Lincoln CLEMM, (1862-1947) was born in Carrol County, Maryland, according to family history. Can anyone confirm this place of birth information? Thanks, Donna
