I have lots of Barnes's and some Criswell's, it could be the same as your Creswell, just different spellings. But, I don't have your match. I have a Lewis Ecker Barnes that married Carrie Harmon. He was born 1873, died 1945. My records show 3 children: Ralph, Lorraine, and Martha Virginia. I checked and I have that she married Albert Wright. This is the closest I have that might match your query below. I knew her as a child and we always called her Aunt Carrie. But that may just have been a term of respect. However, my great grandmother was a Barnes so there is a potential for a relationship there. I believe her husband was Albert Creswell. Her father was Lewis Barnes or maybe I have that backwards. Please advise. Thanks
Carrie Virginia was definitely a Barnes who married a crEswell. However, I do have a great aunt Ursula or variations thereof who married a CrIswell and when he died she married a Stocksdale. Ursula was a Barnes. This line descends from Richard Adam who is buried in Bethesda cemetery on Klee Mill Rd. --- Wanda Hall <wandabhall@comcast.net> wrote: > I have lots of Barnes's and some Criswell's, it > could be the same as your > Creswell, just different spellings.
