    1. Re: [MDCARROL] Brown's Neglect/Bell's Choice - Daniel BROWN heirs
    2. I saw your posting on Daniel Brown, and may be able to offer some clue. Peter Brown, (Braun) born ca. 1750, served in Rev. War., died ca. 1823 in Silver Run/Littlestown area of what was then Frederick Co., now Carroll Co. Among his children was Jacob Brown, who died ca. 1838. His wife was Catherine ? who died ca. 1847. They had a son Daniel Brown with wife Amelia. I have no dates or other information on this Daniel. I do know he had a son Daniel E. Brown, also no dates. This may or may not help. I do know that this is a big family. The Margaret Brown, dau of Henry Brown who married Henry O'Hara Jr. is from my line of Browns, and is no known relation to the Peter Brown line. Henry Brown's father was George Brown born ca. 1690 in England, died ca. 1770 in Frederick Co., now Carroll Co. Henry O'Hara Jr was born 4/25/1767 and died 6/25/1826 in Ruma, Randolph Co., Illinois. His wife was born ca. 1770 and died on 7/25/1825, also in Ruma. Both are buried at St. Patrick's Catholic Church near Ruma. The Margaret Brown, dau of George Brown, was born ca. 1743 in Baltimore Co., and died 5/11/1818 in Loretto, Cambria Co., PA. She was the second wife of Michael McGuire born ca. 1717 and died 11/17/1793. His first wife was Mary Burke. Old Henry O'Hara Sr. and wife and dau. Margaret Daugherty are buried at the Catholic Church in Taneytown, Carroll Co., MD. Would like to exchange any info. that you feel would be helpfull Sincerely Bill Shaffer Westminster, MD -------------- Original message from poorepe@netzero.net: -------------- > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CFB.2ACI/629 > > Message Board Post: > > Frederick Co.
