    3. Hi Sandy, Yelp, I saw that photo too. The Hubbard House is indeed now renovated and inhabited. The owner is the son of Homer Schmitt (sp?), on Richardson Road. Dora Mitchell told me (if I'm remembering this correctly) that Isaiah Blades built the big house on the south side of Richardson Road and later Lemuel & Mary (Rumbold) Hubbard had one almost exactly like it, only slightly smaller, built on the adjoining farm (corner of Richardson Road and Schulke Road), possibly built by the same carpenter. Directly (or almost) across the road from Lemuel & Mary (Rumbold) Hubbard lived John Rumbold, Mary's half-brother. This was before John Rumbold moved to Choptank. I'll call Dora tonight and ask if I'm remembering this right.
