I really haven't done much research on this line. Tabitha was the sister of my ancestor Priscilla (Vaulx) Hubbert/Hubbard, daughter of Ebenezer Vaulx (ca 1714-1788) of Caroline County, Maryland. I do know that the will of Kemuel Godwin of Kent Co., DE (dated & probated 1781) mentions his brother "Preiston" Godwin and his nephew Henry Godwin son of "Preiston," among others. A "Sethel" Godwin was married at one point to a Lydia (Ward or Wright, I can't remember) and sold land in Kent Co., DE during the 1804 to 1806 time period. Note "Sethel" may have actually been "Seth Hill" Godwin, perhaps named after Seth Hill Evitts a near neighbor of the the Vaulx family. Parker Todd http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~carolines/
