The Nichols of Nichols family homestead is now the Nagel homestead on Laurel Grove Road, north west of Federalsburg, MD. The Nichols Family Cemetery is located there and can be seen in "Beneath These Stones, Cemeteries of Caroline County, Maryland" Vol. III pg. 60.
