Denton newspapers are available, and are indexed. I read about 75 years of them, looking for my ancestors. They were free then, but I believe there is now a charge. They cover about 1850 up till past WWI at least. (that's when I quit reading.) Many other cities are also available at this site. Try ANewspaperArchive.com.
