    2. I cannot get into the Denton Journal either. I get the list of articles that would have my family name in it, but when I click on the line to view the article, I get one of three messages: (1) a notice that I need to log on (which I had already done), (2) a notice that my time had expired (even though it had been seconds from the search results to when I clicked on the article I wanted to read), or (3) a McAfee Security Alert. I used to use this site without any problems at all. Of course, at that time, I think all of the papers could be viewed for free since I never had to join as a member. But, then, I only ever tried to enter the Denton paper archive so maybe something else would have happened if I had tried to get into any of the other papers that are now available only to paying members. Did anyone else notice that on their list of free papers they have the wrong name for the Denton Journal? 3. They claim at their site that 5-6 of their listed papers are free to view, Denton Journal, being one of them. I am still waiting for a response to them. Perhaps if everyone sent their technical department a quick e-mail they'll at least respond. One thing I do know is that I will cewrtainly copy as many images as I can if I have to pay for this service. I've already copied about 500 pages and to copy all 20, 000+ images would be a daunting task for me alone. The information you can get from them is priceless though, gleening much more flavor about the culture of the day than you could possibly get from official records. I also can't wait til they come out with the London Herald Times ...This has got to be one heck of a treasure trove. I would love to see both of these papers in a CD set ...what a great B-day or X-mas present that would make (for myself ")). ----- Original Message ----- From: <KarenKayeC@aol.com> To: <MDCAROLI-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 19, 2002 1:10 PM Subject: Re: [MDCAROLI] Denton Journal > I cannot get into the Denton Journal either.
