Does anyone know who he married or his parents, children? I know that he went to Guilford Co., NC where he died 1789-1790. The 1783 Tax list shows: "Zadoc Mears. Gravelly Ridge, 50 acres. CA Lower Choptank District Hundred, p. 51. MSA S 1161-3-6 Location: 1/4/5/46 " Can anyone tell me where this was before Carolline County was formed. I'm wondering if he might be connected with the GOLDBOROUGH family as this name is common in some that I believe are descendants. Thanks for any help! Ann (Jobe) Brown
