The IGI shows him as son of William FRAMPTON and Tanzey STUBBS. Can anyone verify this? The 1850 census for Dorchester Co, MD shows the family of Asbury and in addition to his own children, there are James W. PHILLIPS 14 and Sarah M PHILLIPS 17. Can anyone explain the connection? In 1860 Asbury's family is in Franklin Co, IN. Would also like to find parents for William FRAMPTON and Tanzey STUBBS.
