    1. Re: Re: [MDCAROLI] Jester, Isaac Henry and Margaret (Collins)
    2. Frank Collins
    3. Hi, For Margaret Collins, the most likely candidate I have is found in the following Census record... 1850 Census - Caroline County Tilghman Collins 51 farmer Ann 48 Margrett 19 Priscilla 12 Jessee 7 Henry 5 Isaac Henry 21 labourer Wesley - 11 black Evidently Margaret ran off with the hired help (-; I would love to have any more info you have about the children of Tilghman Collins. I do not have much info about Collins that left Caroline/Dorchester Counties. Tilghman Collins was a son of George Collins (1765-aft1830) and Nicey Hubbard. George Collins was a son of Abraham Collins (1743-1818) and Jane Andrew. Son of the Abraham (1701-1768). See below and previous message. A Census record indicates a Peter (1833-) and Isaac H Jester (1843-) were brothers. Both were sons of Peter Jester (ca1803-). The elder Peter was the son of Boaz Jester (-ca1824) and Rachel Collins (ca1764-bef1816). I have Peter Jester (1803-) marrying a lady named Matilda per a Census record. The son Peter may be the one that married Mary Dean in 1850. I do not have that in my database. Rachel was a daughter of Isaac Collins (1746-1803) and Nancy Andrew (-aft1785). Isaac was a son of Abraham Collins (1701-1768) and Ann (unknown). Abraham was a son of Abraham Collins (1648-1719) and Martha. He came to Northampton County, VA in 1663 at age 15 when an indenture was entered for him. I would be happy to send you a GEDCOM if you can help me identify some other individuals that went West. Thanks, Frank -----Original Message----- From: "William G. 1. Re: [MDCAROLI] Henry Cassidy Rawlings
    2. Frank Collins
    3. Hi, Elizabeth Collins (1790-ca1860) wife of Cassidy Rawlings was a daughter of Samuel Collins (1764-1814) and Debrorah Stevens (1758-1845). Samuel was a son of Abraham Collins (1743-1818) and Jane Andrew (1755-1824). This Abraham was a son of Abraham Collins (1701-1768) and Ann (unknown). This Abraham was the son of Abraham Collins (1648-ca1719) and Martha. He came to Northampton County, VA in 1663 at age 15 when an indenture was entered. Deborah Stevens was a daughter of John Stevens (1740-1802). He was a son of Jonathan Stevens (-ca1767) and Adria/Anoday Benthall. The Benthall line continues way back with other associated names. Jane Andrew was a daughter of John Andrew (-1786) who was a son of John Andrew (1686-1763) Jonathan Stevens, the eldest Abraham Collins, and the Benthall connection all come from Northampton County, VA. The remaining people can be found in the area in and around East New Market, MD and Concord/Harmony, MD.
