    1. [MDCAROLI] William Frazier and Henrietta Maria
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: giggard Surnames: Frazier - Johnson Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.maryland.counties.caroline/1509/mb.ashx Message Board Post: WILLIAM FRAZIER In the year 1767, Sarah Frazier of Dorchester deeded to her eleven year old son a tract of land in that county known as Willenborough. Three years before, upon the death of his father, Alexander Frazier, the boy had inherited the home plantation with other tracts of land lying between Skillington's and Edmondson' creeks, fronting the Choptank river. With the formation of Caroline this land (about 1400 acres in all) was included in the new county and became known as Frazier's Neck. In the family burying ground at Frazier Flats two stone slabs may be seen bearing these inscriptions: Captain William Frazier. Born 1756. Died 1807. Henrietta Maria Frazier. Died 1846, in the 84th year of her age. A nobler monument is erected to their memory in the form of Methodist churches scattered throughout lower Caroline which are the result of the patient labors of this good man and his wife. I noticed also that there is a Rhoda Harriss born about 1774. I have looked at Nicholite records and the records I have found seem to end shortly before 1815. Rhoda Harriss married John Gray iMarch 3, 1835 in Caroline Co. They were living in Franklin Co. Ohio by 1860. I did see there were Grays that were also part of Nicholites. The family Bible in our keeping shows Mary Nexey Meredith as their seventh child, born Sept. 18, 1871, but date of death unknown. Are we on the right track? It further shows that Mary married HARRY Lenoir on March 7, 1888. No mention of a Thomas unless that's a missing part of his name. Further, we show their having 5 daughters: Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Naomi. Nothing is posted on these gals--just blanks. If you are interested in this 60 page genealogy just updated, write back. You will see all of the descendents of William and Sallie's 14 children totaling 800 people in 60 pages (not counting spouses who are included). This book has been worked on since early 1970's.
