He had a brother, Robert Tynes Smith (1845-1931). Both were born in Governor's Harbor, Eleuthera, Bahamas, and Rober Tynes Smith settled in Baltimore with a successful pineapple canning business. He married Mary Hooper. Anybody have any information on this family? Thanks!
