Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Md/BaltimoreCity/13425 Surname: Hauf, Ball ------------------------- My grandfather's name is Thomas Lawrence Hauf(January 19, 1925) he was (supposedly) married to Gloria Marcella Ball (January 5, 1929). They had a child before my father, Ronald Steven Hauf (March 23, 1951). My grandfather was in WWII and after the war he was not able to care for his first son (of which I do not know his name). My grandmother Gloria Ball left her son behind and moved to Louisiana and remarried. It has been told to my father & mother that this son was left with my grandfather's sister (possibly Anna Hauf-Gorman). The son was a Vietnam Veteran but he was killed in an auto accident between 1965 and the early 1970's (around the time my father was in Vietnam). He had a child (son?) which is my father's only full-blooded nephew/niece. My grandfather Thomas L. Hauf is the son of Harry Walter Hauf which fathered between 17 & 25 children.
