Hi All, Happy Thanksgiving. I'm new on this list. Just got back from a trip to Baltimore and searches in MD Archives. Now I'm excited to pursue my MD connections. I'm looking for the Charles Robert GWYNN family. I found them in the 1850 census in the 15th Ward with wife Mary, b. MD, two sons b VA, two sons and two daughters b MD. But they disappear from there in 1860. Obit from the Baltimore Sun in 1892 says they went "back to Virginia" at the outbreak of the Civil War and then returned to Baltimore. I'm wondering if they moved to a suburb by 1860, before heading back to VA. Anyone with any good suggestions?? I would welcome correspondence with other GWYNN searchers.
