Given a choice, I would prefer to go to the Maryland Historical Library. There is a small charge to go in but it's worth the price. The people are very helpful. It's not terribly far from the Pratt Library downtown. There is on street parking and a garage across the street. I can't remember the exact address. Pat << I am going to be in the Baltimore area on Friday and Saturday and would like to find a good library to get some research done. I have heard the name Enoch Pratt Free Library mentioned several times. Is that a good place to research? Would they have copies of published parish records? Abstracted Baltimore County deeds, wills, etc that have been published? I am looking for abstracted records before 1750 for Baltimore County. >>
