Update on EDWARDS family: James EDWARDS, father of Elizabeth, was from originally from Ireland and lived in Baltimore. His obituary (do not know paper, but presumably one in Baltimore): "(?smudged ) at his late residence, Rose Street, James EDWARDS, from Auchmecloy ? -smudged), County Tyrone, Ireland, in the 67th year of his age. James Edwards came to this country in 1796 in the 12th year of his age, and has been a resident of Baltimore city for the last fifty five years.
